The College of Arts & Sciences and St. Joseph Seminary commencement ceremony was held at the Gentile Arena on May 13, 2016. Jean Dolores Schmidt, BVM, Chaplain, Loyola University Chicago’s Water Tower Campus and Men’s Basketball Team, and Mary Ann Hynes, JD, LLM, General Counsel, Archdiocese of Chicago, received honorary degrees of doctors of humane letters. Hynes was also the keynote speaker. Gustavo Arreguin Mendoza and Flavio Genaro Bravo were the student speakers
