Career Goals and Aspirations: I hope to begin my career teaching students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a self-contained classroom. In the future, I would like to attend graduate school and study Higher Education, Social Work, or Educational Policy. Ultimately, I am passionate about advocating for the rights of people with disabilities and helping to promote a more positive image of these individuals throughout society.

Favorite Service Experience: I loved volunteering at a summer camp where camp counselors are paired with a person with developmental and intellectual disabilities for a week in order to give their caretakers a mini vacation while allowing the campers time for goofy camp activities with friends!

Pet Peeve: Poor listeners

Favorite Food: Chinese or Breakfast Food

Dream Travel Destination: Australia

Guilty Pleasure: Eating too much Ben & Jerry’s ice cream

Favorite Green Vegetable: Cucumbers!

Favorite Olympic Sport (Summer or Winter): Gymnastics

Why I Chose to be a Catholic Studies Minor: I chose to become a Catholic Studies minor because I love that this minor combines classes from a variety of different content areas in order to create a well-rounded vision of the church from a variety of angles. My minor has been an important part of my education here because I have learned more about my own personal faith life as well as the beautiful diversity that is found in faith traditions.
