Employers who are looking to recruit Loyola students for internships are supported by the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, & Scholarship and Career Services.

Internship Programs under the Fair Labor Act - Department of Labor

This Internship Fair Labor Standards Act - Dept of Labor Fact Sheet, published by the U.S. Department of Labor, defines employment under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and outlines what conditions must be met for an intern to qualify as unpaid. The fact sheet further discusses factors that need to be considered by "for-profit" internship programs.
