    Kyle Roberts is Assistant Professor of Public History and New Media in the History Department at Loyola University. He teaches courses on public history, digital humanities, religion, and North America and the Atlantic World in the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth centuries.

    Rebecca Silton is the co-director of the Cognitive and Affective Neuroscience laboratory (CANlab) at Loyola (www.canlab.org). Their research focuses on using electroencephalography (EEG) methods to study how cognition is influenced by affect, emotion, and psychological disorders.

    John Slania is Associate Dean in Loyola's School of Communication. He was previously program director for the SOC's Journalism program. Slania is a veteran Chicago journalist who spent nearly 20 years as a newspaper reporter and editor, including the Chicago Tribune, Milwaukee Journal and Arlington Heights Daily Herald.
