    Dr. Ronald Greenberg is on the Computer Science faculty and serves as Undergraduate Program Director for the Department. Dr. Greenberg has been involved for over a decade in a variety of efforts to broaden participation in computing. He and his students have engaged in many outreach efforts throughout the Chicago area, including many within the framework of the service learning course COMP 390: Broadening Participation in STEM (Computing, Math, and Science).

    Sandra Kaufmann serves as the founding director of dance at Loyola University Chicago. She danced internationally with the Martha Graham Dance Company among others and served as Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Ensemble. An award winning choreographer, Sandra has composed pieces for concert dance, film, video, musical theatre and site specific works. Her work at Loyola has garnered her recognition in the form of the 2016 Faculty Member of the Year Award from the Maroon and Gold Society and the Sujack Award for Teaching Excellence.

    Catherine Putonti joined Loyola’s Departments of Biology and Computer Science in 2007. She is the director of the Bioinformatics Program at the Lakeshore Campus and also holds an appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology within the Stritch School of Medicine. Her research (www.putonti-lab.com) integrates computational and molecular approaches to study the diversity of viruses and bacteria in a variety of environments including Lake Michigan and the human body.
