Project Title: Pathways to Goal-Setting in Undergraduate Students
Project Abstract: The current project looks to examine the role educational processes, professional and mentoring influences play in college students, employment-related goal-setting. 20 Asian-American students (10 men and 10 women) will take in part in semi-structured interviews this summer to create a comparative dataset for future cross-cultural study. Results from this study will contribute to an ongoing body of research by Dr. Singh as she develops theory in the field of education with reference to first and second generation Indian and Chinese college students.
