Spend your summer in the beautiful city of Chicago as it comes alive during the long and warm summer months. Between classes, relax along the shores of Lake Michigan or take a walk through one of 570 public parks. On weekends, attend concerts, festivals, and cultural events throughout the city’s unique and diverse neighborhoods. Learning about American culture is best done through experiencing it, and summer in Chicago has a lot to offer.
Chicago Center students enrolled in the summer program select courses from the undergraduate catalogue, taking up to six credits (two classes) over the six-week long term. Students may also enroll in English language courses and take up to nine credits (three classes). Summer students are encouraged to attend community activities in the International House and participate in local day-trips around Chicago and the Midwest.
