Enrolling in Classes
View Course Catalog:
To view our course catalog, you will need to login to our online enrollment system (LOCUS). In the top right-hand corner of any Loyola University Chicago page, you will see the "LOCUS" icon. Use your Loyola login information or simply sign in as a guest on the "Guest Access to LOCUS" link.
From here, a new information box will populate. In this box, you should click on the "Browse the Course Catalog" link. From here, you will see a list of academic subjects populate. When you click on a subject area, a list of all the courses in that subject will populate. You can obtain the course descriptions and enrollment information following the course hyperlink. Please keep in mind that not every course you see in the catalog will be offered in the semester in which you are enrolled and it may take you a bit of time to familiarize yourself with all the subjects available.
View Semester Specific Courses:
Follow the login instructions above, but select "Perform Class Search" instead of "Browse the Catalog." Here, you can search for open and closed classes for the semester you are enrolled with additional information including pre-requisite requirements, course instructors, class meeting times, and more. Be sure you are searching courses offered in the correct semester via the drop down filter.
Working with your Academic Advisor:
After you have received your Chicago Center acceptance letter, you will be assigned to a Loyola academic advisor who will help you to enroll in courses. Questions regarding course enrollment should be directed to Akeya Porter (Apeterson5@luc.edu)
