How to Apply

Follow the instructions below to fill out a Chicago Center Program Application

Step 1: Register as a first-time user

To create and submit your Chicago Center application, you must first create an account as first-time user: 

‌Step 2: Register with your information including: 

  • Email Address
  • First Name 
  • Last Name 
  • Birthdate

Step 3: Check your email, activate your account, and change your password

An email with a temporary pin number will be sent to the email address you listed in step 2. Log into your email account and click on the Activate Account link in the email you received. From there you will be asked to provide the pin number and your birthdate. Once activated, you will be asked to create a new password for your application. 

Step 4: Start a new application 

Once your account has been set up, select Start New Application, located on the bottom of the application management portal.  Upon creating a new application, you will be asked to provide the year and the application type.  Be sure to select YEAR Chicago Center (and Exchange), where YEAR is replaced by the year for which you are applying. Confirm information by clicking Open Application.

Step 5: Read through the instructions and fill out the application. Under the upload materials section, be sure to include: 

  • Declaration of Finances form
  • Bank statement or bank letter reflecting funds that cover the program cost (can be from your parent or sponsor)
  • Copy of passport
  • Transcript and course descriptions in English
  • 1 letter of recommendation
  • Official English language test scores*
*English language test scores are recommended but not required. If you have English language test scores, they can be submitted any time prior to arrival in the United States.  If you do not have an official English language test score, you will be required to take Loyola's English language examination during your first week in Chicago. 

Step 6: Review and submit

Once your application is complete, sign, review, and submit.  You can always save your application and return to it at a later time.  Any missing required information will show up in red on the review section of the application.
