Talk a little about your job and what you’ll be doing.
I will be teaching K-5 curriculum using a holistic educational approach to empower youth in high-risk communities.

How did Loyola prepare you for your job?
My internships were the biggest help. They gave me a chance to interact with various community stakeholders and taught me a lot about managing professional relationships.

Any advice for students who will be graduating next year?
Authenticity is important. Learning how to stay true to yourself and maintain professionalism will take you far. And you should pursue the career you want. At the end of the day, it’s you that answers to you.
