2020-21 Graduates and 2021-22 Graduating Students

We are pleased to invite you to an in-person Celebration for Loyola University Chicago’s Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted our University, our country, and our world in ways we never anticipated these past 20 months. Many Loyola traditions and events had to be cancelled, postponed, or reimagined. We acknowledge that our upcoming Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 Celebrations cannot replace a traditional graduation Commencement ceremony. However, we are pleased to be able to safely recognize and celebrate, in person, your many achievements as well as your Commencement from Loyola. It will also provide you with an opportunity to reconnect with your fellow alumni. Together, you faced many unforeseen challenges, and while it was not easy, you emerged with new-found strengths—as people, friends, family members, and Loyolans.

To ensure your feedback is considered in the planning process, we are calling on you to complete a short survey about the event by Friday, December 10. Official event details will be announced early next year to allow time for gathering feedback and planning.

We hope you can join us next May 2022 and look forward to your feedback in the coming weeks.
