Move Out 2016 WTC

Dear Neighbor,

In the coming week, Loyola will celebrate the end of the academic year and facilitate the move out little over 350 student residents from Baumhart Hall. To ensure an organized process and reduce inconvenience to our neighbors, it is key that we take important measures to ensure that students are able to quickly and easily move items and load vehicles.

Move-out for all students will last 5 days.  This will require parking restrictions to alleviate disruptions in traffic flow. Due to construction along Chestnut and Pearson, parking restrictions have moved to Wabash Avenue.

How will all of this affect you? We have requested that the city restrict parking as follows:

Tuesday, May 3-Sunday, May 8 | 8:00 am – 5:00 PM

Monday, May 9 | 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Affected Streets: Wabash from Chestnut to Pearson

(West side of the street only: 821 – 849)
City will bag meters and post signs.

Students:
Do you need service hours by the end of the semester?  Or, need a study break?  Sign-up to volunteer for Think Green & Give, our campus-wide charitable donation drive where we collect students’ gently used clothing and unopened, non perishable food and toiletries as students move out of the residence halls for the summer.  Collected items will be donated to America’s Disabled and other local charities to help those in need.  Click here for details.

Thank you very much for your patience during this hectic time.
