Summer Brings New Seriously Cool Businesses to RogersEdge

Summer Brings 6 Seriously Cool Businesses to RogersEdge

Locals in the RogerEdge Business District have seen six new businesses pop up just in time for the summer:

Aloha Poke (6462 N Sheridan Rd)

What began as a little food stall smack dab in the middle of a Chicago train station, has now branched out throughout the city and found a home within the RogersEdge community. Locals can now enjoy an Asian-inspired, health-conscious option within walking distance from their doorsteps.  Aloha Poke officially opened their doors and you can stop by today for a bowl of fresh, raw goodness.

Archie’s Café (1228 W Loyola Ave)

A neighborhood can never have too many good coffee shops and brunch eateries, and Archie’s Café, steps away from the Loyola CTA “L” stop, proves that statement perfectly. A cozy café decorated with local art décor, Archie’s serves solid quality coffee from Midwest-based Dogwood Coffee, Spirit tea, light food items and more. Want to enjoy the outdoor weather? You can sit in their new patio area!

Argo Tea (6576 N Sheridan Rd)

Expanding from their Water Tower location to the RogersEdge district, international chain Argo Tea officially opened their doors earlier this month. Hailed a “state of the art” location, Argo Tea will offer their signature loose-leaf teas, coffee and “specialTEA” food items. From breakfast to lunch, they have you covered with sandwiches, salads and baked treats.  Visit their new location today for a refreshing time!

Icylicious Ice Cream Rolls  (6748 N Sheridan Rd) – NOW OPEN!

It looks like Rogers Park will get a taste of the trendy, popular ice cream rolls that has taken over the frozen dessert world. This trendy ice cream shop offically opened its doors this week!

Rogers Wings (6748 N Sheridan Rd) – COMING SOON

Next door to the upcoming Icylicious Ice Cream Rolls, a wing restaurant called “Rogers Wings” is currently in the works.

TBaar (1223 W Devon Ave)

Bubble Tea enthusiasts will be happy to know that TBaar, a New York city based juice bar and smoothie business, has opened its doors. From bubble milk with black and green teas to fruit smoothies, to vegetable and fruit juices, the possibilities are endless. You can also have fun playing around with additions and toppings like tapioca, aloe and more. We’ve tried it, and give it two thumbs up!
