Celebrating the Ramblers Safely, Spring Break Guidance
March 5, 2021
We are all looking forward to the upcoming spring break and are excited about the continued success of Rambler men’s basketball. As we near the one-year mark of COVID-19's impact on Loyola University Chicago, it is important we take a moment to recognize how far we’ve come as a community and celebrate victories where we can, both on and off the court.
If you choose to cheer on the Ramblers as Arch Madness kicks off this weekend, we ask that you please do so responsibly. While positive COVID-19 cases remain low on our campuses, we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, and as people for and with others, it is essential that we all do our part to keep one another safe. This means social distancing, wearing a mask, and following the University’s other Required Personal Safety Practices.
In alignment with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations, we also want to gently remind you that the University’s recommendation to limit personal travel still remains intact. If travel is necessary over the spring break, the CDC has information on travel considerations that can help you take measures to protect yourself and others. Those leaving the city of Chicago should also keep the city’s travel restrictions in mind.
We thank you for your compliance, patience, and perseverance. Stay safe, and go Ramblers!
