Coming Soon: HEERF II Student Share Grant Application
March 30, 2021
We are happy to share with you an update concerning financial assistance for which you may be eligible under the federal government’s Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II).
Approximately $5 million in HEERF II Student Share Grant Funds is available to Loyola University Chicago students for any component of a student’s cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care), or child care.
We expect an online application to request HEERF II Student Share Grant funds will be available during the week of April 5. More information about how to access the online application when it goes live will follow in a separate email communication. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit LUC.edu/heerf to learn more about HEERF II Student Share Grant funds and the University’s policy for distributing these funds, especially to students with exceptional need.
Students enrolled in associate’s, bachelor’s, graduate, professional, and certificate programs (including those enrolled in online programs) as of March 19 who have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) for Aid Year 2020-2021 may apply for the HEERF II Student Share Grant Funds. If you have not yet filed a FAFSA, you can do so at www.studentaid.gov.
