Reminder: Withdrawal Deadline on April 14

March 30, 2021

Students,

As a reminder, Loyola University Chicago extended the deadline for withdrawing from classes with a W to Wednesday, April 14 and eliminated the grade WF this semester only. Following April 14, students will not have the option to withdraw. For students who do not withdraw, final grades will be calculated based on work completed as well as any work not completed in the final weeks of the term.

The extension applies to all programs except graduate business programs, the School of Law, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, and the Stritch School of Medicine. These programs have their own withdrawal deadlines and policies.

With this extension, we are enabling you to make the best academic decisions based on having as much information as possible about your performance in each class. Please reach out to your academic advisor with any questions.

Together in Loyola,
Norberto M. Grzywacz, PhD
Provost and Chief Academic Officer
