All students, families, faculty, staff, and friends of Loyola University Chicago are invited to celebrate the Class of 2021 during Commencement Week beginning on Monday, May 10. No registration is necessary.
Monday, May 10 | 4:00 p.m. Central time
Loyola will gather in prayer to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates. Join us for this livestreamed Mass from Madonna della Strada Chapel on Loyola's Lake Shore Campus. Fr. James Murphy, S.J., professor of philosophy, will be presiding.

To join the celebration, visit LUC.edu/Commencement. Log on at 5:45 p.m. for a slideshow highlighting student-submitted photos from the Class of 2021 that represent their time at Loyola. At 6:00 p.m., the University ceremony begins.
The ceremony will include remarks by Jo Ann Rooney, JD, LLM, EdD, President; Norberto Grzywacz, PhD, Provost; Robert Bucholz, PhD, professor of history; Lucas Williamson, candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Multimedia Journalism; and Soulit Chacko, candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Sociology.
Academic Unit Ceremonies
Ceremonies for individual colleges, schools, and institutes will begin on Tuesday, May 11. Please visit LUC.edu/commencement/schedule to see what day each ceremony will be available. Ceremonies will be available at 8:00 a.m. Central time on the date specified. Academic unit ceremonies will include remarks by the dean, student speaker, and a recognition of all graduates individually by name.
