Introducing Loyola’s COVID-19 Testing Dashboard

Dear Loyola Community,
We are very excited to welcome you back to Loyola University Chicago this fall. We have worked hard all summer to ensure a safe return for our students, faculty, and staff, regardless of where you are learning, teaching, or working from this semester.
As we kick off fall classes today, we would like to share with you Loyola’s new COVID-19 Testing Dashboard. Any positive COVID-19 cases that result from Loyola-provided testing on campus will be reflected on this dashboard.
The COVID-19 Testing Dashboard page also provides an overview of testing services available through Loyola. For more detailed information on testing, please visit our Health and Safety page on the Return to Campus website.
It is the University’s responsibility to respect and maintain the privacy and anonymity of individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19. In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the University—along with public health authorities—will not share the identification of individuals following a positive diagnosis or during the contact tracing process, nor will we provide any information that may compromise confidentiality.
Students, faculty, and staff who have tested positive for COVID-19 at non-Loyola testing sites are still required to report their case to the University as soon as possible. If you have tested positive for the virus, please contact us at COVID-19report@LUC.edu or by calling 773-508-7707. All COVID-19-related questions or feedback should continue to be sent to COVID-19support@LUC.edu, not the case reporting email address.
Students, faculty, and staff only need to report positive cases within the last 14 days. For additional details, please visit our Reporting Protocol page.
We strongly recommend students, faculty, and staff continue to use our new Symptom Checker within the Loyola mobile application to promote your own health and safety and to improve awareness of the symptoms of COVID-19. If you have not tested positive for COVID-19 but are experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms, please remain at home and reach out to the following for guidance and care:
- Students at Lakeside campuses, including ABSN students: Call Dial-a-Nurse at 773-508-8883
- Biomedical graduate students and medical students at the Health Sciences Campus: Call Employee and Student Health Hotline at 708-216-1170
- Faculty and staff: Call your medical provider
We all have a part to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Following the University’s required personal safety practices can lower your own risk of being infected and help protect others.
