Housing and Meal Plan Considerations
Dear Loyola Parent or Family Member,
As the nation and world deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working around the clock to care for our students and their families, as well as the entire Loyola community. Thank you for your questions and concerns about logistics and financial considerations.
While we attend to the immediate needs of moving students off campus and transitioning them from in-person classes to online learning, we are committed to addressing the related financial implications.
Please be assured that Loyola will reconcile all students’ housing and meal plan costs to reflect the shortened on-campus period. Adjustments to prorate housing, meal plans, and other fees will appear on your student Locus account no later than the end of March 2020, and any resulting refunds will be issued in April 2020.
We recognize that a very small number of our students might need to remain on campus due to extenuating circumstances. For those students, meal plans will extend to the end of the Spring semester.
Loyola appreciates everyone’s understanding and patience as we navigate through this unprecedented global health concern.
