The Loyola Commitment Process and Update on Commencement 2020
We wanted to share with you some important updates that we have communicated with our students, faculty, and staff regarding the Loyola Commitment process and Commencement 2020.
Our Ignatian mission calls us to respond to the needs of others and those of our own community. The far-reaching impact of COVID-19 has called us together as one unified Loyola to overcome new obstacles and to meet these challenges with resilience, grace, resourcefulness, and hope.
Some of the challenges the pandemic has created have been economic and financial in nature.
The Loyola Commitment is just one of the ways we can advance our mission. We encourage all undergraduate and graduate students and their parents who have experienced unexpected financial hardships to review this information and consider applying. LUC.edu/loyolacommitment
Another limitation has been our ability to gather on-campus and celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2020 as a result of social distancing and guidance from the state of Illinois. For more information on the decision to host 2020 Commencement virtually, please visit the Commencement website at LUC.edu/commencement.
As always, we appreciate your ongoing support, understanding, and patience as we navigate this challenging time together. We pray that you all remain healthy and hopeful.
Together in Loyola,
Jo Ann Rooney JD, LLM, EdD
