Corporate philanthropy plays an important role in the education, research, and outreach programming at Loyola University Chicago. Our shared goal is to create sustainable solutions to expand knowledge in the service of humanity through learning, justice, and faith while furthering the missions of our corporate philanthropy partners. Loyola works closely with corporate supporters on achieving their philanthropic objectives by finding the best-suited University project, program, and scholarship to meet their needs.
Loyola provides scholarship support to many students who are the first person in their family to attend college. In fact, 90 percent of Loyola students receive some financial aid. Matching gifts are also a great way to support your employees and the local community in which you do business.
1. PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT
Corporate partners may choose to provide support to a specific area of the University through a grant from their corporate foundation. These grants can be for general operating funds or restricted to specific programs or initiatives within the University. We are happy to work with you to determine the right area of support for your company.
2. SCHOLARSHIP SUPPORT
Loyola’s Jesuit ethic compels us to work toward providing an education to all students with the talent and drive to earn their degrees, regardless of their financial status. Corporations can create endowed scholarships or provide current-use scholarship support to help ensure that deserving students receive a quality university education.
3. MATCHING GIFTS
A matching-gift program is a great way to support the philanthropic aims of employees and make their gifts more impactful in the community. Please e-contact Gift Processing at luc-devgift@LUC.edu or 800.424.1513 for more information about making a matching gift or go to http://matchinggifts.com/luc.
4. GIFTS IN KIND
Although most companies provide cash donations, some companies prefer to make non-cash contributions of goods or services in support of the educational mission of the University.
The options listed above are just a few ways that corporations can partner with Loyola University Chicago. Please contact us to learn how your organization can support Loyola as we prepare people to lead extraordinary lives.
