Executive Master of Business Administration Degree

Today’s dynamic global business economy is characterized by the need for continuous change, insightful approaches to problem-solving, and responsible decision-making. Loyola’s Quinlan School of Business Executive MBA degree program prepares high-potential executives to distinguish themselves in the marketplace as innovative problem-solvers who understand good business practices and have the intellect and skills to deliver them.

Quinlan’s EMBA program enables participants to hone their management skills, refine their ability to integrate various business disciplines, enhance their critical thinking skills, and explore business issues in a global context.

  • The accelerated nature of the program means participants do not have to sacrifice success in their current work for professional development and learning opportunities.

  • Tuition covers all expenses, including books, international travel, residency weeks, and meals during the program.

  • Responsible leadership is a focus in each of Quinlan’s programs, giving students the tools to identify and navigate ethical dilemmas in the workplace.

  • Quinlan School of Business is accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting body for schools of business. Fewer than 5 percent of business schools worldwide meet the AACSB’s rigorous standards.

  • Curriculum Classes meet every other Saturday on campus with asynchronous online learning on the alternate weeks
  • Program takes 20 months to complete
  • A new cohort begins each fall

Structured in an accelerated framework and designed for busy executives, classes meet every other Saturday, for 20 months. This convenient format allows participants to learn and advance their career while maintaining work-life balance.

Classes take place at Loyola’s Water Tower Campus in the new state-of-the art Schreiber Center, home of the Quinlan School of Business.

Students take 26 cross-functional courses that offer a breadth of exposure to the disciplines well-rounded leaders must master. In addition to the life-changing international immersion experience, the program launches and concludes with one-week residencies in Chicago. Students complete the program with a final capstone project.

Our faculty members are experienced, nationally recognized leaders in their fields. They integrate research and practical experiences into the classroom and are committed to being accessible to students.

Study Abroad

A global immersion experience is required. Participants explore global issues through a 10- to 12-day industry- specific international immersion trip designed specifically for the cohort. The location, curriculum, and experience are developed in collaboration with the cohort.
