PROFILE: CUSTOM CLIENT, Make-A-Wish Foundation
THE CHALLENGE
To handle its growing workload, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois needed to find a better way to manage projects and work more efficiently.
OUR SOLUTION
Quinlan designed a custom project management seminar for Make-A-Wish employees at the University’s Water Tower Campus.
THE RESULT
Make-A-Wish has seen an increase in productivity and efficiency since completing the program. Its employees are now better able to handle multiple projects—and that’s important, because every year the demand for their services grows.
“We chose Quinlan because of the school’s stellar reputation, convenient scheduling, and willingness to design a program for our specific needs.”
—STEPHANIE SPRINGS, CEO
PROFILE: CUSTOM CLIENT, Sysmex
THE CHALLENGE
Sysmex, which makes clinical testing devices, has been steadily growing for several years. The company was looking for a way to show its expanding group of employees how their jobs— from sales to finance to research—relate to one another.
OUR SOLUTION
Quinlan worked with Sysmex to develop its Birth of a Customer class, which brings together workers from all departments and is offered as part of a custom mini-MBA program.
THE RESULT
Employees now see themselves as part of the same team, all working for a common goal. The training has been so successful that Sysmex has been using Quinlan’s programs for three years; in fact, about half of all Sysmex’s 800 employees have taken at least one mini-MBA class.
“Quinlan is our go-to for training. The mini-MBA is now embedded within our organization.”
—ERIN DUNSTAN,
Director of Human Resources
