Description
This course focuses on the concepts and skills essential for developing and leading breakthrough work teams. Emphasis is placed on decision-making and problem solving, inter-team and intra-team dynamics, team composition, and organizational support and barriers to teams, as well as on current issues such as virtual teams, self-managed teams, transnational teams, and high-performance teams. Students are given the opportunity to gain an understanding of team processes, and to assess and develop team skills through real world team projects, experien-tial activities, self-assessment tools, and case analysis.
