Chicago Metro History Fair Website Judging

Chicago Metro History Fair Website Judging

Wednesday, April 17 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

CTSDH, 3rd Floor, Loyola Hall

Join us to judge digital projects created by Chicagoland middle and high school students for the Chicago Metro History Fair. For those unfamiliar with the History Fair, it is a local institution that has spent the last thirty years working to spark students’ interest in the study of history, help them build high-level thinking skills, engage them in civic life, and foster their intellectual self-confidence.

What does judging involve? Volunteers will work in teams of two to review three websites over a two-hour period. Never done this sort of work before? We will open with an overview of how to review scholarly websites. This is a great opportunity to support an important community organization while sharpening your skills as a reviewer of digital projects!

Pizza will be served.

We need to give the History Fair a count of volunteers so they can apportion us a number of websites. If you are interested in participating in this opportunity, please email Kyle Roberts (luctsdh@luc.edu) if you can join us.
