BA in Information Technology

The B.A. in Information Technology is designed for those interested in acquiring advanced knowledge and skills such as Java programming, object-oriented software development, networks and telecommunications, web development, and database management. You can begin the program with a minimal understanding of computers and finish with skills to master the rapid development of computer technologies. It is ideal both for students who plan to begin new careers or reinvent current ones.

Blended courses offered both on the Water Tower Campus (820 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago) and at Loyola Lake County (1350 N. Milwaukee, Vernon Hills). This major can also be completed fully online.
Master's Program Students completing their B.A. in Information Technology with SCPS will have 2 courses waived from their M.S. in Information Technology at Loyola should they pursue admission to that program.
