Emily is a master’s student in Loyola’s dual degree program for Social Work and Women’s and Gender Studies beginning in the fall. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola. Her research interests include gender and sexuality, social and economic inequality, intimate partner violence, and mental health. Emily is interested in how to improve mental health outcomes for those impacted by gender and sexual identity discrimination, inequality, and violence. She hopes to work directly with women and the LGBTQ community. Emily’s other passions include taking care of her rescue cat, going to coffee shops, and baking.
