About
Marina Ross was born in the former USSR (present-day Moldova) and immigrated to Rogers Park in 1993. She has exhibited her work at the Zhou B. Art Center and Baby Blue Gallery in Chicago. She received the Stanley Grant for international travel to attend the Saint Petersburg Artist Residency in Saint Petersburg, Russia in 2017. Themes in her work relate to Russian-Jewish identity, superstition, and mysticism.
