Meeting with SDMA Staff

Guidelines and agreements for all staff 

  • If you are sick, unwell, in quarantine/isolation, or display any signs or symptoms of COVID-19, do not attempt to physically enter SDMA or engage in in-person meetings or engagements. Virtual modalities for meetings are available: Microsoft Teams or Zoom. 
  • All individuals, regardless of vaccination status must social distance (6ft when possible), properly wear masks (over nose and mouth) and always engage in personal sanitizing practices. 
  • All students must have their ID scanned at the front desk upon entry. 
  • Unscheduled appointments are not guaranteed to occur unless agreed upon by staff members after checking in at the SDMA front desk. 
  • Individuals are encouraged to communicate and share their needs to ensure their health and well-being (i.e., outside location, virtually). If possible, staff will do their best to accommodate. 

When meeting with Eva 

  • Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule a meeting using the scheduling assistant tool: calendly.com/evalong. If there is a preference for meeting in-person or virtually, please indicate in the meeting request. A follow-up confirmation will inform the party of the modality of the meeting that ensures the well-being of the group to the best of their ability.  
  • A maximum of TWO (2) individuals are allowed to be in the office (excluding Eva). If more than two people are required in a meeting, please inform accordingly.  
  • Eating or drinking is prohibited in the office. Exceptions will be made for medical necessity or at the discretion of Eva. 
  • Do not consent to physical touch (i.e., handshake, pat, hug).  

When meeting with James 

Scheduled Meetings: 

  • Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule a meeting using the scheduling assistant tool: https://calendly.com/jthomas39/jamesofficehours If there is a preference for meeting in-person or virtually, please indicate in the meeting request. A follow-up confirmation will inform the party of the modality of the meeting that ensures the well-being of the group to the best of their ability. 
  • A maximum of TWO (2) individuals are allowed to be in James’ office at a time. If more than two people are required in your meeting, please inform James. 
  • Use one of the available seats in front of James’ desk and minimize movement of chairs. 
  • Eating or drinking is prohibited in the office. Exceptions will be made for medical necessity or at the discretion of James. 
  • Unless otherwise noted, meetings should not exceed 45 minutes. 

Walk – in or Unscheduled Meetings: 

  • Inform the SDMA representative at the front desk that you are wanting to meet with James. 
  • If James is available, then you can enter the office with sanitized hands, properly placed mask, and social distancing guidelines enforced. No more than two other people (aside from James) are allowed in the office at a time. If James is not available, you can come back again or schedule an appointment. 

When meeting with Shay 

  • Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule a meeting using the scheduling assistant tool: https://calendly.com/shaycollins/officehours. If there is a preference for meeting in-person or virtually, please indicate in the meeting request. A follow-up confirmation will inform the party of the modality of the meeting that ensures the well-being of the group to the best of their ability.  
  • A maximum of THREE (3) individuals are allowed to be in the office (excluding Shay). If more than three people are required in a meeting, please inform accordingly.  
  • Eating or drinking is prohibited in the office. Exceptions will be made for medical necessity or at the discretion of Shay. 
  • Unless otherwise noted, meetings should not exceed 45 minutes. 
  • Do not consent to physical touch (i.e., handshake, pat, hug).  

When meeting with Whitney 

Scheduled Meetings: 

  • Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule a meeting using the scheduling assistant tool: https://calendly.com/wkwamin/office-hours 
  • A maximum of TWO (2) individuals are allowed to be in Whitney’s office at a time. If more than two people are required in your meeting, please inform Whitney. 
  • Eating or drinking is prohibited in the office. Exceptions will be made for medical necessity or at the discretion of Whitney. 
  • Unless otherwise noted, meetings should not exceed 45 minutes. 

Walk – in or Unscheduled Meetings:

When meeting with Ricardo “Richie”  

  • Individuals are highly encouraged to schedule a meeting using the scheduling assistant tool: https://calendly.com/richiesilva/
  • If there is a preference for meeting in-person or virtually, please indicate in the meeting request. 
  • Meeting in person will depend on the availability of the resource room. If you wish to meet in person, please allow 2-3 business days to secure a meeting location. If you have an office we can meet at, please indicate the meeting location in request.   
  • A maximum of SIX (6) individuals are allowed to be in the resource room (excluding Richie). If more than 6 people are required in a meeting, please inform accordingly. 
  • Do not consent to physical touch (i.e., handshake, pat, hug).   
  • Unless otherwise noted, meetings should not exceed 45 minutes. 

Walk - in Meetings 

  • If Richie is at the front desk and a meeting is necessary, a private meeting will be subject to resource room availability.
