The Department of Student Diversity & Multicultural Affairs provides trainings and resources to Loyola departments and student groups around issues of diversity and social justice.
Diversity and Social Justice Trainings
We know that every group is unique so we customize the majority of our trainings to fit the needs and goals of a specific group. Previous trainings have covered topics such as: multiple and intersecting identities, introduction to mircoaggressions, specific or multiple diversity and social justice issues, and Safe Space Ally Training.
Additionally, due to the fact that we customize almost all of our trainings we do require that you contact us no less than a month prior to your desired training date(s) in order to have sufficient time to develop a training for your group.
Advising and Resources
For Loyola groups looking for resources or guidance to supplement or inform their own trainings, as well as for groups whose schedules conflict with ours, we do provide resources and advising to assist you in developing your own training.
Groups who wish to develop their own training but would like advising and/or resources should contact us two weeks before the training date(s).
If you have any questions or are interested in a training, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
