Safe Space Trainings are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) community of Loyola University Chicago. 

Safe Space Workshops cover the following:

  • Definitions, terms, and symbols
  • LGBTQIA identity development
  • Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
  • Resources for the LGBTQIA communities

All Safe Space Trainings will be held virtually on Zoom for the Fall 2020 semester.

Fall 2020 Safe Space Training Dates!

Thursday, September 17th, 2020 from 5 PM to 7 PM CST

Friday, October 9th, 2020 from 12 PM to 2 PM CST

Friday, November 13th, 2020 from 12 PM to 2 PM CST
