Most of our programming is open to all Loyola students! Follow us on our social media and the CDI newsletter to stay up to date with our upcoming events. Examples of programs include:

 

Q-Functions are our programming events that will we host throughout the year. Programming is created by our QUEST mentor student leaders and is mostly an open space for Loyola students. Our events have ranged from Queer Sex Ed hosted by Howard Brown Health to virtual Movie Nights, so make sure to keep an eye out for what we have coming up!

QUEST is our mentorship program centered on LGBTQIA+ students. Be paired up with a peer and staff/faculty mentor in your Loyola journey!

Q-Retreat is a weekend LGBTQIA+ event that provides a brave space filled with meaningful dialogue, workshops, forums, and educational engagement sessions. 

 

QTPoC (Queer and Trans People of Color) is a new student group that supports queer and trans people of color in the LUC community. This newly developed group engages in conversations on the QTPoC experience at LUC and in Chicago. The closed group is dedicated to creating awareness and a safe, comfortable atmosphere for LGBTQIA people of color on campus and beyond.

 

Q-Grads is an initiative aimed to connect graduate, professional, and adult students to the LGBTQIA resources provided by CDI and Loyola.

 

Safe Space Trainings are introductory workshops that aim to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) community of Loyola University Chicago.
