STARS Interns

The primary role of a STARS Intern is to assist the Assistant Director in providing supervision and professional guidance to STARS mentors. Interns function in a variety of roles which include co-facilitating staff meetings, leading biweekly one-on-one meetings with 4-6 peer mentors, chair large scale STARS events, support monthly programs, and serve as a point contact to STARS LEAD students.

STARS Mentors

Each STARS Mentor is matched with 4-5 incoming first-year students at the start of the fall semester. Mentors maintain regular contact with their mentees throughout the academic year, advising and guiding them in their transition to college life. In addition, STARS Mentors plan and organize monthly events designed to support mentees' overall success at Loyola.
