Migration is Beautiful

This is a picture of a monarch butterfly which represents the beauty of migration within undocumented communities in the United States.

USP is a campus wide initiative designed to foster Rambler community, build awareness on issues related to undocumented student experiences at Loyola, bolster on-campus support for and the inclusion of undocumented students.

USP Engagement Opportunities

  • Undocumented and Proud (UP). UP is a closed-brave space for undocumented students. This student group meets regularly during the academic year and is co-led by the USP Interns. This space is designed to build solidarity, support, and joy. If you are looking for a space that will center and celebrate your resilience, please email diversity @luc.edu to get connected to this space.
  • USP Newsletter. Stay connected to USP by joining our monthly newsletter. We keep the Rambler community updated on the latest news regarding immigration law, community resources, and job opportunities for undocumented students. Additionally, USP will celebrate our Undocumented community. provide information on campus-wide events, and provide allyship resources.
  • UndocuWeek. Each semester the USP Interns will host a celebratory week that uplifts stories of resilience within the undocumented community. The USP interns collaborate with various campus partners and student organizations to cultivate community, provide resources, and celebrate success.
  • Share the Dream Ally Trainings. The SDMA Director and USP Interns facilitate Share the Dream Ally Trainings to deepen awareness and commitment to supporting undocumented students on-campus and through out the Chicago area. Upon completing the training, participants receive a placard that recognizes them as allies and as points of support for undocumented students on campus.
