B4E Staff & Faculty Mentors
B4E Staff & Faculty Mentors serve as a primary source for support, encouragement, and help mentees successfully navigate and transition into the academic, extracurricular, social, and cultural dimensions of campus life at Loyola. Through one-on-one and group meetings, staff and faculty mentors are knowledgeable guides, thoughtful facilitators who provides access to people and resources, and serve as role models and success advocates. The program seeks 20-30 staff and faculty volunteers annually. If you are interested in serving as a Staff of Faculty Mentor, please contact James Thomas at email@example.com.
B4E Peer Mentors
B4E Peer Mentors serve as the secondary layer to support, encourage and assist first-year & transfer mentees in successfully navigating and transitioning into the academic, extracurricular, social, cultural dimensions of campus life at Loyola. Through one-on-ones, group meetings, and communication, peer mentors are knowledgeable guides, thoughtful facilitators who provides access to people and resources, role models and success advocates. In addition, peer mentors play a critical role in supporting the program planning, development, and execution of numerous B4E community engagements and events throughout the academic year. Six peer mentors are hired for each academic year.
