Safe Space Training
Safe Space trainings are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and more (LGBTQIA+) community of Loyola University Chicago.
Content covered includes: definitions, terms, and symbols, LGBTQIA identity development, skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes, and resources for the LGBTQIA communities
Fall Safe Space Trainings will be on November 18, 2022, from 9am-12pm on Zoom, and on November 28, 2022, from 3-6pm in Cuneo 202. Trainings are open to all LUC students, staff, and faculty. Register at bit.ly/sstnov2022. Contact diversity@luc.edu for more information.
Share the Dream Undocumented Student Ally Training
Share the Dream Undocumented Student Ally Training is open to Loyola faculty, staff, and students from all schools and departments. The training strives to educate community members on how to be action-oriented allies and understand the issues faced by undocumented people in the United States and at Loyola University.
