Safe Space Workshops
Safe Space Trainings are introductory sessions that work to assist individuals who wish to support the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, and Asexual (LGBTQIA) community of Loyola University Chicago.
Safe Space Workshops cover the following:
- Definitions, terms, and symbols
- LGBTQIA identity development
- Skills to interrupt heterosexist and cissexist behaviors and attitudes
- Resources for the LGBTQIA communities
All Safe Space Trainings will be held virtually on Zoom for the Spring 2021 semester.
Spring 2021 Safe Space Trainings:
Wednesday, February 3rd from 3-5 PM CST
Thursday, February 25th from 5-7 PM CST
Wednesday, March 24th from 3-5 PM CST
