Dear Fellow Loyolans,

I am delighted to share that the search committee for the Vice President of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) position has been formed. This committee is comprised of distinguished and proactive individuals in the DEI space from our student body, faculty, and staff who will each bring a unique perspective and background to ensure the candidates we evaluate throughout this process not only meet the list of qualifications but also demonstrate the character of a Loyolan, our Jesuit and Catholic values, and the commitment to DEI both on and off campus.

The members of the advisory committee are:

  • Badia Ahad, Vice Provost, Faculty Affairs
  • Jocelyn Arroyo, Undergraduate student
  • Qunfeng Dong, Professor and Director, Center for Biomedical Informatics
  • Tobyn Friar, Director, Financial Aid
  • Seth Green, Founding Director, Baumhart Center
