As a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago, he teaches graduate students how to use evidence for continuous improvement. Before coming to Loyola University Chicago, he was the Director of School Improvement and Catholic School Accreditation for the Archdiocese of Chicago where he was responsible for supporting the largest private school system in the United States in teaching schools how to analyze student performance results, coaching schools using the Data Wise Improvement Process, and showing schools how to create and evaluate continuous school improvement efforts. Jorge holds a B.A. from The University of Vermont, a M.S. Ed. from Chicago State University, an Ed.D. from DePaul University, and is a Certified Data Wise Coach and holds the Certificate in Advanced Educational Leadership both from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
