Academic Coaching

The  transformative power of Academic Coaching emanates from the “constant interplay of experience, reflection and action” as suggested in Ignation Pedagogy: A Practical Approach.

Academic Coaches have a sustained urban immersion experience working with at-risk students in chronically underperforming high schools. They are called to action as they formulate productive interventions to help the students they serve conquer challenging obstacles and move forward in life. The Ignation cycle continues as Academic Coaches reflect, process and dialogue about their experience.
