About

Donna Woodard has served in Catholic education for almost three decades.  During this time, she has served as a president, principal, director of admissions, director of development, teacher, parent and board member.  Her experiences in numerous schools across the country have exposed her to many innovative ideas and a variety of school settings:  historic inner city, struggling rural, growing new suburban, and renewed urban. Each of these school settings has been unique in their strengths and challenges but all hold common a mission to serve students.

Donna is an outgoing and people-oriented person, who enjoys building relationships and fostering a sense of mission with the various constituents who support or are served by a school or organization. She is excited to be a part of Loyola School of Education to build and foster strategic partnerships with schools, districts and organizations. Donna holds a Masters in Catholic School Leadership from the University of Dallas and a Bachelors degree in Education and Early Childhood from Texas Woman's University.

Donna and her husband, Kelby, recently moved to Chicago as Kelby assumed on the role of CEO/President of the Cristo Rey national network of Catholic high schools.  She keeps busy volunteering for non-profit organizations, her parish and the school her youngest attends.  Donna and Kelby have five children, ages 11 - 27, who live across the country.
