Felicia Hernandez

Felicia Hernandez is a second-year graduate student in the School Psychology program. She previously obtained her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University, after which she returned home to San Antonio, Texas, where she taught elementary schools for eight years. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for school psychologists on campuses to support students’ mental health drove her to the Puentes program. She is excited that the program will provide her the opportunity to partner with similar communities and receive special training to support multilingual populations better. The long-term goal? Return to Loyola to earn her EdD in School Psychology and expand her skills even further.
