Lizeth Torres
Lizeth Torres is a third-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She previously obtained her bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Illinois Chicago, where she developed an interest in the field of school psychology and its coverage of social justice, mental health awareness, and working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. She was drawn to the Puentes program by its emphasis on increasing culturally and linguistically diverse children’s awareness of mental health services.
She currently serves as one of two third-year interns in the Puentes Fellowship.
