Savannah Kafkas

Savannah Kafkas is a second-year graduate student who previously earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her undergraduate studies, she also completed certificates in Disability Rights and Services and Education and Educational Services. Savannah has experience as a teacher’s assistant in pre-K classrooms, where she worked with children from diverse backgrounds. Currently, she serves as a neuropsychology technician, deepening her understanding of assessments and culturally sensitive practices. Savannah was drawn to the Puentes program for its focus on enhancing cultural competence and addressing language and cultural sensitivity in schools. Upon graduation, she aspires to become a licensed psychologist in educational settings, dedicated to providing students with the support they need and deserve.
