Seven new Golden Apple Scholars are headed to Loyola! Inducted on June 8, 2019, these “freshly picked” Scholars join our 31 other Golden Apples who are already studying in our Teaching & Learning program at Loyola. These newest additions are focusing on a variety of programs of study including Early Childhood Special Ed, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, Elementary Education, and Secondary Education.

Teaching is the noblest of professions. To find out more about Loyola’s Teaching & Learning undergraduate and graduate programs as well as out other areas of study, visit us online at luc.edu/education.

An Illinois-based organization, the Golden Apple Foundation supports numerous teachers in training across the state. In addition to studying in one of the finest education programs in the state, our Golden Apple Scholars receive additional benefits from the Foundation that include tuition support up to $23,000, paid Scholar Institutes that include courses and extensive classroom experience, and mentoring from award-winning faculty. We are grateful for their continued support in the preparation of outstanding teachers.
