About

Julia Pryce, PhD joined the School of Social work in 2006, and is currently a Professor within the school. Her research explores the nature of supportive adult-youth relationships in youth development settings (e.g., child welfare, mentoring, casework), as well as how we can train adults to attune to young people across settings. Her teaching primarily focuses on research methods and on human development across the lifecourse. She served as the Associate Director of the Faculty Center for five years, and is excited to support opportunities provided for Faculty Development within the Jesuit tradition here at LUC.
