What’s one highlight from your first semester of college?

Being elected as my Residence Hall’s Hall Government Treasurer, which helped me meet a lot of friends within my residence hall, some of which I still talk to, and helped me feel more connected to my campus community.

What do you wish you’d known when you started college?

It’s okay if you do not have your whole life figured out the moment you start college. I changed my major 4 times and did not know my career path until my senior year. While this caused me a lot of stress in the moment, everything worked out. It’s okay to give yourself time to experience college and figure it out as you go!

What do you like about advising first and second year students?

Seeing the growth in students from the beginning of their first semester to the end of their second year, especially when students have those “a-ha moments” where they learn something significant about themselves, their future goals, or the people around them.

What’s your favorite thing about Loyola?

The views of the lake from campus and attending volleyball games!

What’s your favorite thing about Chicago?

The food scene! Especially during the summer when different neighborhoods host food-themed festivals.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Watching reality tv and Formula 1, walking my dog around the city, playing outdoor sports (volleyball and tennis), taking road trips with friends.
