What’s one highlight from your first semester of college? |
During my first semester, I went to an information session for campus tour guides with someone I met during the first week of class & that job led me to meet my lifelong friends and college roommates. They’re people I still hang out with & visit even after we’ve graduated! |
What do you wish you’d known when you started college? |
When I started college, I did not know how many opportunities I would have to discover new interests of mine. I wish someone would have told me to start early with exploring, whether that’s your major, clubs and organizations, or events on & off campus. |
What do you like about advising first and second year students? |
I like that we are a part of the support system for first and second year students as they navigate their first two years on campus. It can be a time of change and transition and being able to help students find ways to be successful academically is what I like most! |
What’s your favorite thing about Loyola? |
Loyola has a beautiful campus that I enjoy walking through when the weather is nice. However, I also like the fact that Loyola offers so many resources to our students, faculty & staff so that each of us can find a campus community or tools that make our campus experience unique to us! |
What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? |
The food! My list of ‘Want to Try’ restaurants on Beli gets longer every week. Regardless of what food I am in the mood for, there is a restaurant nearby that has something amazing for me to try! |
What do you like to do in your spare time? |
When I am not trying new restaurants, I find concerts or shows, spend time reading, going to see the latest movie release, or catching up on my favorite shows. I also spend a huge amount of my time obsessing over my cat, Winston. |
