What’s one highlight from your first semester of college?

Attending my first ever college football game with my roommate and best friend :)

What do you wish you’d known when you started college?

It’s okay to admit if you’re lost or overwhelmed. As a first-generation college student, I had a lot of questions that I thought were silly to ask other people. Looking back, they were not silly (but even if they were – it doesn’t matter!), and I wish I wasn’t so hard on myself for not knowing everything there was to know about college.

What do you like about advising first and second year students?

Being able to hear about their education and career goals and supporting them along the way.

What’s your favorite thing about Loyola?

Our beautiful Lake Shore campus

What’s your favorite thing about Chicago?

How many neighborhoods there are to explore; still so many coffee shops and thrift stores left for me to visit!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Going on long walks, baking, watching rom-coms, and listening to Taylor Swift (while going on a long walk or baking)
