What’s one highlight from your first semester of college? |
Attending my first ever college football game with my roommate and best friend :) |
What do you wish you’d known when you started college? |
It’s okay to admit if you’re lost or overwhelmed. As a first-generation college student, I had a lot of questions that I thought were silly to ask other people. Looking back, they were not silly (but even if they were – it doesn’t matter!), and I wish I wasn’t so hard on myself for not knowing everything there was to know about college. |
What do you like about advising first and second year students? |
Being able to hear about their education and career goals and supporting them along the way. |
What’s your favorite thing about Loyola? |
Our beautiful Lake Shore campus |
What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? |
How many neighborhoods there are to explore; still so many coffee shops and thrift stores left for me to visit! |
What do you like to do in your spare time? |
Going on long walks, baking, watching rom-coms, and listening to Taylor Swift (while going on a long walk or baking) |
