What’s one highlight from your first year of college? |
The very first weekend of my college experience! I met people I am still friends with today and the Plain White T’s performed on our campus. |
What do you wish you’d known in your first year of college? |
That it is normal to explore classes, organizations, or interests outside of my degree. This means it is also completely ok to change my mind about my major because my interests or goals change. |
What do you like about advising first and second year students? |
I really enjoy guiding students through the transition from high school to college. It is certainly an exciting time, but college can also be overwhelming. Anything I can do to help make the transition easier brings me a sense of joy and accomplishment! |
What’s your favorite thing about Loyola? |
The professional community here! Everyone in our office and beyond is happy to collaborate to help students succeed and improve their experience here. |
What’s your favorite thing about Chicago? |
As a Chicago native, I have to say my favorite part is the city. Whatever food you’re craving or want to try, we have a place for you to go. If you like pizza especially, you’re in the right city! |
What do you like to do in your spare time? |
I really love to read, especially those in the fantasy genre. I am also a big Chicago sports fan. My favorite sport is baseball and even though I work on the North side, I grew up on the South side, so I am a die-hard White Sox fan. Tambien, estoy aprendiendo español así que puedes practicar conmigo si quieres! (Also, I am learning Spanish so you can practice with me if you want!) |
